Scholarships and Eagle Grants
Scholarship Applications Deadline: March 15, 2017
Bishop Watterson High School offers a variety of financial assistance for students seeking a Catholic education. Following are the types of financial assistance available, with details about how to pursue consideration for each type.
Merit Based Scholarships: These scholarships include awards based on academic performance, service and other qualifying criteria.
1. Academic Scholarships and Principal’s Academic Awards: These scholarships are awarded based on the student’s score on the Entrance Test, standardized test scores and overall academic profile. The number and dollar amount of the scholarships will be determined by the number of qualified students.
2. Dominican Sisters Scholarships: This is a four-year, half-tuition scholarship awarded based on the student’s score on the Entrance Test, standardized test scores and overall academic profile. Recipients must maintain a certain accumulative grade point average and conduct grade as well as participate in co-curricular activities for the renewal of the scholarship.
Note: A make-up Entrance Test will be given in the spring for students who cannot take the test on either of the two scheduled dates. However, this will delay the scheduling process and those students will not be eligible for these academic scholarships.
