Girls Track and Field

Congrats to Michelle Lehmann, 2nd in long jump at State Indoor Track Meet at the University of Akron on Saturday March 4th, Sam Mikula 9th in the mile (both personal bests).

Lehmann (Immaculate Conception) qualified in both the 60 meter dash and long jump. This will be her first appearance in the indoor state meet. She was a member of the 2016 school record and regional qualifying 4x100 meter relay team (other relay members Maddie Ogden, J’Niah Johnston-Reynolds, and Erin Lombardi, all class of 2017). She has twice been named first team all-CCL in track & field as a member of the 2014 CCL 4x200 meter relay champion (Rotolo ’17 – Johnston-Reynolds – Merklin ’14) and the 2016 CCL 4x100 meter relay champion.

(Our Lady of Peace) qualified in the 1600 meter run. This will be her second appearance in the indoor state meet, becoming the only Bishop Watterson Girls Track & Field athlete to ever accomplish this feat. She was a member of the 4x800 relay team (Griffith ’15 – Passwater ’15 – Thomas 16’) that finished 9th at the 2015 indoor state meet and later that season was a member of the distance medley team (Griffith – Sugar ’16 – Passwater) that finished 23rd in the emerging elite division at New Balance Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2014, she was a member of the 4x800 team that finished 7th at regionals. In Cross Country, she was the 2016 CCL individual champion and earned all-district honors while qualifying for the Division I Regional Meet.

A live stream of the meet will be available to any subscribers to Results immediately following the race will be available via the track scoreboard at
